Allows seamless analysis of multiple markets including ASX, NYSE, NASDAQ, AMEX, LSE (and AIM) and JSE.
Online Help System
Context sensitivity extends to the online help system which provides extensive help to supplement the comprehensive printed documentation.
Screen Layouts
Allow all the work performed on a specific chart, or group of charts (trend lines, moving averages, notes, etc..), to be saved and either manually or automatically re-displayed the next time that the workspace is viewed. In addition, it is possible to create screen layouts or templates of favorite analysis combinations (e.g. a chart with one or more Indicators, and Moving Averages of pre-defined periods, etc.) that can be applied to any chart using a single mouse click.
Chart Types
Includes Line, Volume, OHLC Bar, Candlesticks, and Gann Swing chart types. Charts can plot values relative to any other data item (Equity, Index, etc..) and/or be expressed in another currency. One or more charts can be superimposed on the same screen or drawn below one another using a common date scale. If overlaid, charts can be compared based on actual data or normalized to base-100. In all instances, the vertical scale can be linear or logarithmic. Different time compressions of the same data item can be viewed simultaneously in the same workspace.
Indicators
Includes the following pre-loaded indicators: Accumulation and Distribution, ADX, ADX Rating, Anticipator, Aroon, Aroon Oscillator, Average Directional Index, (ATR) Average True Range, ATR Exponential, ATR Volatility, ATR Stop, Chaikin Money Flow, Bollinger Bands, Candlesticks, Commodity Channel Index, Coppock, Custom Indicator, Delta, (DMI) Directional Movement Index, Dividend Yield, Donchian Channel, Double Momentum, Earnings Yield, Elder-Ray Bear Power, Elder-Ray Bull Power, Exponential Oscillator, Force Index Plus, Harbinger, Historic Volatility Benchmark, Historic Volatility, Keltner Channel, KST, Kurtosis, Linear Oscillation, Linear Regression, Liquidity, Livshin Bear Power, Livshin Bull Power, MACD, MACD Histogram, McClellans Oscillator, McClellans Summation Index, Momentum, Negative Open Interest Index, Negative Volume Index, On Balance Open Interest, On Balance Open Interest %, On Balance Volume, On Balance Volume %, Open Interest, Open Interest Accumulation, Open Interest Price (A), Open Interest Price (B), Overbought/Oversold, Parabolic (SAR), Percentage Volume Oscillator, Point Movement Oscillator, Positive Open Interest Index, Positive Volume Index, PE Ratio, Probability, RSI, Relative Oscillation Movement, Relative Strength Comparison, SIROC, SIROC Delta, Smart Sector, Stochastic, Stochastic (Slow), Stochastic (Fast), Stochastic (Full), Swing, Swing (Wide), Stop Loss, Triple Exponential Smoothing, Ultimate Oscillator, Velocity Accelerator, Volatility Contraction/Expansion, Volatility Stop, Volume, Volume Accumulation, Volume Price Trend (A), Volume Price Trend (B), Williams' %R, Williams' %R (Smooth).

Drawing Tools
Equipped with a broad library of drawing tools including Trend Lines and Market Channels, Andrew's Pitchfork, Horizontal and Vertical Lines, Fibonacci projection and retracement, Support and Resistance, Gann Fan, Cycle analysis and projection, and Shapes such as Ellipse, Rectangle, and Triangle. All drawing tools are compatible with either a linear or logarithmic scale, and can be saved and repositioned if needed via mouse control. Notes can be saved with a chart and textual annotations can be fixed to any point in a chart. Chart interpretation, called "Auto Alerts" can be activated and or customised on an indicator-by-indicator basis.
Productivity
The Workbook feature allows all items on a chart (trend lines, annotations, indicators, etc..) to be saved for that given item and then automatically or manually recalled the next time the chart is displayed. In addition, groups of screen layouts or templates can be saved (called function key overlays) and applied to any chart. These two features let the user view multiple indicators and data perspectives with negligible user input, as each layout can be assigned to a button (activated by a single click) or a function key (one key press completely changes your indicators).
Items that are reviewed on a frequent basis can be grouped together as a watchlist under a descriptive name (called Series). The user selects the Series, and the items are graphed. It is possible to switch from one graph to the next with a single command (Key or mouse).
Screen Layouts (Workspaces) can be created/saved/recalled.
Customisation
Includes one of the most powerful customisation interfaces ever designed for a desktop market data analysis program. Referred to as the "Themes Manager", this comprehensive interface allows every item on the screen to be customised to suit the user's individual requirements (something especially of interest to professionals who publish their analysis); from the colour, size and style of any chart, its component parts including bars/candle styles, price and date scales, to the color and size of any font, drawing tool, indicator, or annotation etc.
In addition to the Themes Manager, toolbars can be fully customized to contain any combination of buttons of any feature and these can be positioned at the most convenient screen locations. Most program options can be set to predetermined defaults (e.g., pre-selecting default periods for specified indicators).
Market Highlighter
Has two main features, namely, statistical and indicator highlighter. The statistical highlighter will rank shares based on percentage or physical moves in price, volume, or value traded on a market sector or series basis, over any given period with various combinations and permutations.
Indicator analysis comes preloaded with numerous popular test scenarios that the user can modify to their specific needs. Alternatively they can create as many custom tests as needed. Tests are performed on any Market sector or series of items. Tests can consist of up to ten different indicator scenarios (moving average crossed over indicator giving a buy, indicator turned down, indicator, above/below a given value, etc..) that signal a buy or sell condition. Any number of scenarios can be grouped together, and final selection can be based on all being true, or a percentage (highlight equity if 3 out of 5 tests are true). Performance results from each and every test can be individually saved for later reference. Performance results can be charted effortlessly, with no further user input.
Market Scanner
Tests any item, group of items (within one, or across many exchanges), market sector and/or exchange, for one or more indicator scenarios you have selected. The scanner requires zero programming as it comes with dozens of popular tests. With minimal effort, unique market strategies can be designed. For example, it would be possible to test all Material sector stocks to see which ones have a 13-day RSI indicator that is below 30 and has just turned up, giving a buy signal. It is then possible to plot charts of the entire set of results or any single item. The results can also be saved as a list of shares or "series" in Market Master X-ec terminology. It is possible to create and save as many different tests as needed. Test scenarios can contain up to 10 different indicators plus moving averages. It is also possible to perform a test, of a test etc.
Auto Alerts
Designed to assist you to identify buy and/or sell signals for a chart or indicator using predetermined parameters. Alerts (eg. green for buy and red for sell) are shown on your charts according to your chosen indicator(s), settings, parameters and chart type. At anytime 'trade summaries' can be retrieved to view stats such as Average/Profit Good Trade, Average/Profit Bad Trade, Average Profit/Trade, Total Simple Profit, Total Compounded Profit and Hit Ratio.
Quicklist
The QuickList is designed to expose all of the data in the catalog to you in a way that helps you to sort and analyse shares. Data fields can be sorted, saved as a series, scanned, etc. and include data items such as sector, move %, PE Ratio, Dividend Yield, Earnings Yield, Deals, 12 month highs/lows and market capitalisation.
Portfolio Manager
Keeps an up to date record of multiple portfolios which shows the value of your portfolio at anytime and keeps a record of all transactions to date. Portfolio(s) can be analysed/scanned through all of the Market Master features outlined above.
Market Optimiser
Consists of testing every possible indicator period combination on a given item, to find the period(s) that yield the most profitable results over a specified period. Brokerage, good/bad trade ratios, etc., can all be set to suit individual trading/investment profiles. Both the period(s) and the indicator, and if needed, a moving average used in conjunction with the indicator, are found. Although this often involves analysis of the profit of hundreds of thousands of different combinations, the results are usually returned in tens of seconds to a few minutes, even for the most complex combinations. A Number of indicators on an entire range of items can be optimized in a single batch. Results are stored internally and associated with the data item and indicator, so that record keeping or user input is not needed in order to use these results at any future stage.
Data Manager
This module is used for creating and managing your own data files (i.e. additional data other than what you download like managed funds data). You can use it to manually enter and edit any data file. Also use it to import/edit and/or export any data kept by your program. A must for any serious trader who needs to supplement the standard data feeds to stay ahead of the pack.
